5 Essential Tools for Wedding planners
5 Essential Tools for Wedding planners
So it's our anniversary month in February ( yay I'm so excited) and I've been thinking of ways to celebrate with both clients and colleagues. Our theme for the month is "Loving is giving" and we intend to show love by giving anyway we can. Watch out for our huge giveaways next month .
Today is about the 5 tools that has helped me in my business and I hope it helps you too.
1. My Diary /Year Planner- With the numerous meetings , calls and different client you talk to you need to keep up to date with your calendar to know your free time and avoid confused booking
2. My internet enabled smart phone- if you can slowdown on selfie mode for a minute you will realize that your phone can do way more than you imagine. "Google is your Friend" and I mean it literarily. I can find venues, set up the closest meeting place, get address or contact numbers all on my phone. Seriously the possibilities are endless.
3. The "Planners" Notepad- this is totally different from your diary or calendar. I have come to realize that every client has a distinct request for their event so it's important to have your notepad ready during every conversation be it in person or on the phone. This helps to get every detail and trust me every little detail counts.
4. Emergency Planners Kit - imagine the bridesmaid has a wardrobe mishap and it's a beach wedding or the groomsman has a headache from the turnt bachelors party...... You can have the simple things like a thread and needle or some painkillers or even if it's just some band aide. Please consult your doctor before you administer any drugs though... Lol.
5. My Smile - Now this cannot be over emphasized . My smile is my secret weapon ,Every Event has its situations nit helps in 2 ways. it gives everyone the feeling that you have things under control and secondly it helps you remain calm while you think of ways to control the situation.
So there you have it guys. Try my 5 Essential tools and if you need more info or you want to become an Event planner , you can join our 6month training beginning in February. Until then, Happy planning and if you are a bride don't forget to smile through your process....
