What I Learnt From `Atinu ́da 2

Hey guys ! So it's the end of the second quarter for 2017 and I have to say this was one of the best Quarter I've experienced in my business. It opened my eyes to new things and old things that I've always had but was just blind to see. The highlight of the quarter for me was my ATINUDA'2 experience, wow where can I start? The people,the ambience,the speakers and omg the food! but I'm definitely not here to talk about the culinary skills of SisiPepper or the Creative mixes from Mandies or Eventi, that's topic for another day . I learnt some business lessons that day and I want to share it with you so if you are in business let's go.



DON'T BE AFRAID

Too many of us are afraid to show what we can do for Fear of rejection or even acceptance. if only we can let ourselves go and allow our creativity flow from within without inhibitions we can create a revolution in our business. I learnt that if I can dream things I can work it to reality so I am ready to dip my feet in the ocean guys, who is with me?!

DONT PROCRASTINATE..... 
"Just Do It✔️"  Yes I know it's a Nike slogan but I had to just get it out there cos it has helped me a lot in my business . The renowned baker Of Elizabethscakeemporium said a few things about how she just decided to give some samples to prospective clients and got her first big job working for the Queen of England. I was so inspired so when ever you feel like putting that idea off till later , " Just Do It ✔️" It even helped me to finish this write up for you guys.


  
OWN YOUR MISTAKES AND LEARN FROM IT

AT `Atinu ́da '  Preston Bailey one of the biggest Event designer I know was speaking about being in the event design business for 37 years and in all the lessons he could have taught from  "how he grew his business", how to decorate like a pro, how to keep up with new trends no no no..... he taught about "The 10 Mistakes he made in his business" like who does that? When the best thing to do is just cover it up and claim to be perfect in all things . Teaching about his mistakes taught me how to avoid making those same mistakes in my business and most importantly I learnt that when we make mistakes we should own them as they are part of what makes us professionals . I love Preston Bailey! 


So as we begin the 3rd quarter of the year I'm hopeful for bigger things and I can't wait for you guys to see all I have in store for you. We are entering the second phase of our giveaway this July. I also have my free E book "Brides must haves" to be released before the end of the quarter. Then of course we have numerous brides we'll be making happy so watch out for TheEventGirl guys we are emerging No 1.

Hey guys, yes I know it’s been a while and I apologize for putting work before you but I’m here now and trust I come baring goodies.... according to our new Nigerian Slogan “Plenty Stew”  So today’s post is to tell you about my serious jealousy for  “Ember”brides. Yes I said it! I’m so jealous of them *rolls eyes*.  Before you get all righteous and judgy about it I promise after you read all my reasons I may be able to bring you over to my side of the table.  The Ember season is Sale Season Imagine you spent about 2000 dollars on a wedding dress only for a bride to buy that same wedding dress for 500 dollars because it’s on sale. Yes that’s one reason why I’m jealous. The Wedding Business is “BIG BUSINESS”

Hey guys, So it’s the end of the month of March and I think this is the best time to have this post. Did you guys see all the weddings that took place in the month? "WOW" is the word that best describes the display of class,opulence and royalty in these weddings. Osibanjo & Bakare Wedding #FaMil2018 I won’t even try to shake any tables by asking which one was the best one or which bride was prettier. Let me just leave the table shaking to ......
